Platform Specialist

The person in this role will work closely with our Operations team to bring our client’s virtual and hybrid event platforms to life. It will involve a lot of time in the back-end of the Delegate Connect platform, building event platforms and supporting all aspects of platform delivery.

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Platform Specialist to join our dynamic team. The person in this role will work closely with our Operations team to bring our client’s virtual and hybrid event platforms to life. It will involve a lot of time in the back-end of the Delegate Connect platform, building event platforms and supporting all aspects of platform delivery.


The nature of the business is fast-paced and therefore to be successful in the role you will need to have excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work to multiple deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technology, with experience in event technology preferred. This role is based in our head office in Hawthorn East, Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and configure event platforms to meet clients’ needs
  • Support the Operations team to create and maintain event platforms
  • Provide platform assistance to clients
  • Answer tech-support helpdesk questions, finding resolutions to queries and technical issues
  • Conduct pre-records with speakers
  • Assist the Operations team with general coordination across all events as required
  • Perform other related duties as required

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experience using technology (event technology preferred)
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • Enthusiastic, efficient and detailed
  • Can-do attitude towards all obstacles
  • Fantastic multitasking skills
