Guests requiring special needs ticketing purchases and inquiries, such as relating to the Companion Card Program, wheelchair and mobility restricted seating, or sight impairment can fill out an accessible seating booking form from the AEC website or call 1300 665 915, or book via a Ticketek Agency.

Arena Floor Level Stairs—Seating in Sections A–P is located on the Arena Floor, and all access is via 31 stairs from Doors 2, 4, 19 & 21.
Arena Foyer Level Stairs—Access to Sections 5–32 is via stairs up from the Foyer Level. There is a minimum of 7 stairs up to Row A, and a maximum of 46 stairs up to Row P. Access to sections 1–4 is via stairs down from the Foyer Level. There are a minimum of 3 stairs down to Row GG and a maximum of 15 stairs down to row AA.

There are no stairs to the wheelchair areas which can be accessed directly from the ground level (foyer level). There are 3 stairs down to the mobility restricted seating in Row GG.
Patrons who require hearing assistance can purchase seats in any area of the Arena or Theatre and have access to an FM audio system by bringing their own FM receiver headset and tuning into 88.3 FM.

Trained guide, hearing, and assistance dogs are welcome at AEC. A water bowl is available at the Arena Cloak Room to provide comfort for service animals if required.

Disabled toilet facilities are available throughout the venue.

Wheelchair access is available for all external entry points to the Arena ground level. Wheelchair access to the Theatre is available at Door 1 at ground level and via Door 3, Door 4, and Door 5 by way of the disabled ramp which services the Theatre Terrace.

All food and drink outlets are accessible via wheelchair in both the Arena and Theatre.

AEC is a fully cashless venue, accepting payment via major credit and debit cards and mobile pay (Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay) for all onsite charges including car parking, food and drinks and merchandise.

Getting To The Adelaide Entertainment Centre

Air Travel

AEC is only a 10-minute drive from Adelaide Airport, which has taxi ranks outside located to the left (on the western side) of the pedestrian plaza that guests can easily use.

Train Travel

The AEC is easily accessible via public transport, and the Bowden Train Station is just a 150m walk away, which is less than 5 minutes.

Travel by Car

Taxi ranks are located on both sides of Port Road in close proximity to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre’s entry.

Local Travel

Park 'N' Ride is also available for City-bound commuters, where delegates can park at the AEC and catch the free city tram which will take guests to the bustling CBD of Adelaide in around 10 minutes.

The AEC also provides bicycle rails at the front of the venue.

Bus stops are within close proximity to the AEC—when looking at bus timetables refer to bus timetables 115, 150, 157.

Tram services between the city and AEC are free of charge and operate frequently. The tram station is located immediately in front of the Centre on Port Road.

Nearby Parking

The AEC has more than 1,400 parking spaces for guests with entry/exit via Mary Street, Manton Street, or Adam Street. $15 parking fee will apply for event parking. Our Park ’n’ Ride deal is one of Adelaide’s most convenient and affordable parking solutions, ideal for City-bound commuters. Avoid CBD traffic delays and parking fees; simply park at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre and catch the FREE city tram. One-way travel to the CBD takes approximately 10 – 12 minutes

There are multiple quality hotels and apartments within a close distance of the venue. From expensive boutique hotels to Holiday Inns. Prices range from around £54 up to around £200 per night.

Nearby Bars & Restaurants

There is a range of restaurants around the venue where delegates can enjoy cuisines from across the globe, including Asian, Italian, Indian and Australian. The AEC also has fixed and mobile food and beverage outlets available for Arena and Theatre concerts within the foyer areas and other public spaces. The Centre offers a wide variety of confectionery and soft and alcoholic beverages. Food items are limited to baguettes, hot chips, wedges, pizza slices, burgers, hot dogs, pies, pasties, and sausage rolls. The range of product offerings may vary from event to event depending on audience size and event type
