The Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre is a group of three buildings beside the Yarra River on South Wharf, spanning 70,000sq.m and consisting of 63 event spaces, outdoor courtyard spaces, a Plenary that can divide into 3 separate theatres, the Goldfields Theatre, and more space on top of this.

Accessible toilets, ramps and lifts are available throughout the venue, including lift access from the car parks. Wheelchair hire is available for guests who need it, and can be hired by calling the customer service team on +61 3 9235 8000 or emailing customerservice@mcec.com.au

Braille is provided on all room door signage and fixed directional signage throughout the venue. MCEC is guide dog friendly and welcomes any registered assistance dogs into all areas of the building.

Getting to the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre

Air Travel

MCEC is about a 20-minute car journey from Melbourne International Airport via the M2.

Train Travel

MCEC has its own tram stop around a 10 minute walk away from the centre on Clarendon St. Nearby there are also tram stops such as Clarendon St/Whiteman St tram stop and Port Junction/79 Whiteman St tram stop which are around 13 minutes away to walk via South Wharf Promenade.
